Established in March of 1944, The Pisgah Memorial Society was organized with the purpose: "To engage in the business of establishing, maintaining and conducting a public cemetery and burial ground for the Pisgah community in Clinton District, Monongalia County, West Virginia".
The Pisgah Memorial Society is a non-profit organization. We rely strictly on donations for the upkeep and maintenance of the lots located in the cemetery. We are NOT a perpetual care cemetery.
Every person having any relative by blood or marriage buried or hereafter buried in the cemetery is considered to be a member of the organization.
The organization consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and five (5) Board of Directors.  None of the officers receive any payment for their time in office.
Our annual meeting is held on the Sunday prior to Memorial Day in May at the pavilion adjacent to the cemetery.
