The Pisgah Memorial Society, Inc. was established in March 1944. The organization was started by a group of interested persons with the purpose: "To engage in the business of establishing, maintaining and conducting a public cemetery and burial ground for the Pisgah community in Clinton District, Monongalia County, West Virginia".

This corporation was organized as to realize no profit.  Each and every person having any relative by blood or marriage buried or hereafter buried in the cemetery is automatically a member of the organization.

The organization relies on donations by any interested person for the upkeep and maintenance of the lots located in the cemetery.

We are  NOT  a  perpetual  care cemetery.
The organization consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and five (5) Board of Directors.  None of the officers receive any payment for their time in office.  The Secretary is reimbursed for the costs incurred.
